Vehicle OEM Database

The database contains a vehicle's DLC location and any provided TSB notifications and documents.

DLC Images may not be available for vehicles newer than 2004 model year. A previous model year and similar model may be referenced for general identification of the DLC appearance.   Volkswagen has found that some inspection equipment (or handheld OBD scan tools) have trouble establishing communication with a: 1999 MY VW Golf 1.9L TDI (diesel) 66kW; 2000 MY VW Jetta 1.8L Turbo (gasoline) 110kW; or 2001 MY VW Jetta 2.0L (gasoline) 85kW and may not be able to establish communication at all with these vehicles or may only be able to establish communication with the transmission control module (TCM) (for automatic transmission equipped vehicles).

  GM has provided information relating to a service calibration that, when installed, will change by one the Mode $01 PID count for the subject vehicles. Affected Vehicles: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche 2007 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL equipped with 5.3 Liter Flex Fuel Engines (VIN Code 0 or 3). This revised copy contains additional detail that could assist I/M administrators regarding how this change could affect their programs.

  Volvo Air Conditioning (A/C) Readiness Monitor

  Volvo Car Corporation, LLC (Volvo) has determined that certain XC90, S40 and V50 vehicles have the A/C readiness mistakenly set to supported instead of unsupported. This means that some technicians or IM administrators may think there are issues with scan tool equipment accuracy, vehicle tampering, or fraud. This letter is to confirm that specific Volvos will indeed report A/C monitor as supported and to provide information regarding which vehicles are affected and what additional actions repair technicians may need to take to get the A/C monitor readiness to report 'ready/complete'.
